Over the years we have seen many damaged and lifted fences due to invasive tree roots.
Many people don’t realise how much harm a large tree root can do to a fence until it’s too late.
If you have a damaged fence or a leaning/ fallen fence due to tree roots, we can help you get that fence strong and new again.
What we can do for your damaged fence:
If your fence is on a lean and being pushed over by a tree or roots, we can come repair your timber fence for you. Our team will remove the tree and as much of the roots as possible and then add either new posts, rails or palings to fix the fence and get it standing straight again.
If your timber fence has completely fallen over, we can remove the tree and its roots and repair the fence so it stands tall again or even install a brand-new timber fence.
How to prevent roots from damaging your fence
When planting a new tree, make sure you plant it 4 to 6 meters away from the fence line. Small bushes or flowers can be planted closer.
Stop the roots before it gets to your fence by cutting down and removing the tree. Then get a stump grinder to remove the stump so it doesn’t grow back. Our company can help you complete this step; go to our garden services site.
