There are many properties that require a double-sided timber fence to be installed around the property. Many timber fencing companies don’t provide this service or don’t have the experience building double-sided fences. However, our team can build you a 1.2 or 1.8 meter high, double-sided timber fence, as we have many years’ experience building double-sided fences.
There are two types of double-sided fences that we can provide.
- Our Standard double-sided fence is built like a standard fence and then extra palings are added on, to cover the railings. This means the railings are covered on both sides. (as seen in pictures below)
- The Two timber fences model. This double-sided fence has two timber fences; built rails side by side with the rails of both fences facing inward. This double-sided fence is usually built around commercial properties and takes longer to build and is more complicated.
Recently, we built a standard double-sided fence for a residential property in central Auckland. The double-sided timber fence went all the way around the property adding up to 90 meters long and stood at 1.8 meters high. This double-sided fence was built in a record time of 3 work days. When the client saw the finished timber fence, they were very delighted.
Why do I need a double-sided fence?
Double-sided fences keep kids safe by ensuring that your kids can’t climb up and over the fence by using the railings – as there are no railings accessible on either side of the fence.
As well as keeping strangers from climbing over your fence.
The double-sided timber fence provides a sleek, clean look for both sides of the fence. Resulting in no railings being seen on either your side or your neighbour’s side of the fence.
